Lean Six Sigma Curriculum for Grand Rapids High School Students
Lean Six Sigma professionals who have the knowledge and skills to use it can often get better job opportunities. They also have more opportunities to lead teams within their company and the ability to take on a business of their own. As LSS practitioners are highly valued in any industry, this methodology can lead to higher salaries, and the best part about it is that there isn’t something like exclusivity about business professionals being able to learn it only. In recent years, high school students are reaping the same benefits, and they gain career advantages over their peers, which is leading to Lean Six Sigma being present in high schools more often.
For students to reap the benefits, it is important to focus on how they acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for future positions and projects. You can find all the training and certification required to use this method in our company, Lean Six Sigma Curriculum for Grand Rapids High School Students of Michigan. We have been working with students for a long time, and we are confident about our programs and teaching methods.
LSS is often misunderstood as a tool that can only be used by professionals or companies to improve processes. This perception and outlook have changed due to the recent implementations of LSS and inculcation in education.
Lean Six Sigma’s strength is its ability to be used by anyone who learns the basics and how it works in practice with its structures and principles.
As a result, students can even apply for jobs with companies without having any previous experience. You can use the skills you learn with Sigma to help you get a job, even if your higher education is not something you pursue, and you will finish school to go right to a new job.
We understand that you have a question, whether as a student or an educational institution.
First, LSS requires problem-solving, decision-making, and confidence. Learning how to implement it will help individuals in training to develop or improve these skills and aspects and their control over Sigma and the projects they manage.
This allows students to gain the knowledge and skills needed to manage their daily lives and to work towards greater opportunities and personal development as well.
High school students can access the Yellow Belt or Green Belt offered by our company to help them gain all the knowledge they need.
These are the only options you’ll need if you are a student or school board interested in LSS belts and want to integrate them into your students’ curriculum of studies.
- The yellow belt is more focused on personal skills. This belt is designed to help students manage their problems and build confidence while learning the basics and essentials of the methodology.
- The green belt is team-based. They are taught how to work together, problem-solve, lead, and develop more skills, while the practical part of Sigma is approached by our team so they can work within different industries and, thus, companies.
